Trailhead Hike: Alexandria City Walk, VA

Meet at King Street Metro at 9 a.m. Few cities in America are as walkable as Alexandria. It oozes charm, and especially so when it’s garbed in holiday splendor. Both the charm and splendor will be on display as we visit key historic sites throughout the famous Old Town area. We then walk to Jones Point Park beneath Wilson Bridge to see the historic lighthouse and the D.C. south cornerstone, one of the oldest artifacts associated with the survey of the U.S. capital. We return to Old Town for lunch (optional) at the Union Street Public House before heading back to the King Street Metro.
