OUR BUS ROUTES
For Saturday hikes, the Capital Hiking Club charters a bus that either picks up in MD or VA. Read the hike description on Meetup carefully to determine which route the bus take.

Pickup spots along the routes are listed below.
VA BUS ROUTE

DC: Near 17th and K St. NW (https://bit.ly/17thandK) downtown DC (west side of Farragut Square), bus leaves at 8 a.m. SHARP. Location is near the Farragut West, Farragut North, and McPherson Square Metro stations.

VIENNA METRO: NORTH parking lot (http://bit.ly/Vienna-North), last bus shelter (Nutley St. Exit off Interstate 66 on North/Vienna side of I-66) at approximately 8:25 a.m.

Note: There is a "south" parking lot where there are also bus shelters. If by 8:15, you're not with a group of hikers who say they're Capital Hiking Club, you're most likely at the south bus stop.

MD BUS ROUTE

CONNECTICUT & PORTER: Northeast corner of Connecticut and Porter Streets, NW, (http://bit.ly/ConnecticutPorter). Bus will very briefly stop at the curb in front of the Broadmoor Apartments to pick up hikers at 8:10 AM.

CONNECTICUT & MCKINLEY: Connecticut and McKinley Streets, NW, (http://bit.ly/ConnecticutMcKinley). Bus will stop at the bus shelter in front of the Safeway to pick up hikers at approximately 8:20 AM.

ROCKVILLE / NORTH BETHESDA, MD: Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station (http://www.wmata.com/rail/station_detail.cfm?station_id=14). Bus will stop at the bus shelter nearest to Metro Station entrance between Metro Station and parking garage (Wisconsin Avenue / Rockville Pike / Rt. 355 exit off I-495), at approximately 8:30 AM.
