About the Event
$36. Long hike: 12 mi., 2600 ft. elevation gain. Moderate hike: 9 mi., 1600 ft. elevation gain.
Moderate hikers will reach the AT from the (lower) Ted Lake parking area from Leeds Manor Road. All hikers will continue on the AT, eventually taking an unmarked trail and a fire road to descend to Thompson Lake. From Thompson Lake hikers will take the Verlin Smith Trail to ascend to the AT, go briefly on the AT, and then take the trail to the Upper Ted Lake parking area.
