$26. 6 mi., 1500 ft. ascent/descent.
Sugarloaf is an unusual geological phenomenon known as a monadnoc: a mountain that is formed by erosion of the adjacent land rather than by volcanic action. We will ascend the summit from the West Parking area and then take the loop along the Blue trail.
