Little Devils Stairs is one of the more challenging rock scrambles in Shenandoah National Park, but the views it provides of the Keyser Run gorge are well worth the effort.

$5. Long hike: 13 mi., 3200 ft. ascent/ descent. Moderate hike: 10 mi., 2400 ft. elevation gain.
From the parking area at the Little Devils Stairs trailhead, hikers will ascend via the Little Devils Stairs Trail, cross Skyline Drive, take an access trail to connect with the Appalachian Trail, and take the AT to Little Hogback Overlook. Moderate hikers will take the Sugarloaf Trail, Pole Link Trail, and Keyser Fire Road to descend back to the parking area. Long hikers will return via the AT, Piney Ridge Trail, Fork Mountain Trail, and Hull School Trail before connecting with the fire road at the Bolen cemetery, and then take the fire road back to the parking area.
