About the Event
$36. Long hike: 11½ mi., 2300 ft. ascent. Moderate hike: 8 mi., 1500 ft. ascent/descent.
Both hikes will do an out-and-back along the Dickey Ridge Trail. Moderate hikers will go up to the Visitor Center, which features an overlook into the Shenandoah Valley. Long hikers will also do the Snead Farm loop. All hikes have the option to add the Fox Hollow Loop, which adds about 0.5-0.75 miles, with minimal elevation.
