About the Event

$26.  Long hike: 10½ mi., 1200 ft. ascent, 2200 ft. descent. Moderate hike: 7½ mi., 800 ft. ascent, 1700 ft. descent.  

With trees still bare of leaves, striking views of the peaceful Maryland countryside await us as we follow the ridgetop-hugging Catoctin Trail northbound, with long hikers starting at Hamburg Rd., moderate hikers at Delauter Rd. We’ll all end at the Cunningham Falls State Park Manor Area.
