Moderate hikers start at Hemlock Overlook and proceed north (upstream) on the Bull Run – Occoquan Trail to Bull Run Regional Park. Long hikers start hiking north from Bull Run Marina. Hikers who are up to the challenge have the option of starting at Fountainhead Regional Park to cover the full length of the trail.
