About the Event
$26. Long hike: 11½ mi., 1300 ft. ascent, 1200 ft. descent. Moderate hike: 700 ft. ascent, 700 ft. descent.
The attraction: a stunning carpet of blooming Virginia bluebells and other spring wildflowers. The bountiful blossoms will accompany us all the way as we hike upstream along Bull Run creek, with long hikers beginning at Bull Run Marina, moderate hikers at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park. We’ll end at Bull Run Regional Park, where the bluebells are especially profuse.
