$36. Long: 9 mi., 2,900 ft. ascent. Moderate hike: 6 mi., 1,900 ft. ascent.
We’ll get there from Forest Road 92, climbing the Big Schloss Cutoff Trail to the Mill Mtn. Trail A southbound jaunt on the latter and a short side trip take us to Big Schloss. We then continue to Wolf Gap, from where long hikers add a roundtrip to Summit No. 2, Tibbett Knob.
