About the Event
$36. Long hike: 13½ mi., 2600 ft. ascent. Moderate hike: 9½ mi., 2250 ft. ascent.
Long hikers start from Keys Gap and go south to Snickers Gap. Medium hikers go along the road from Rte. 713 to the Blackburn Center and then go south to Snickers Gap. On the way all hikers will be able to stop at the magnificent Raven Rocks overlook, with extensive views of the Shenandoah Valley. NOTE: both long and moderate hikes are somewhat more challenging than the general run of CHC hikes.
