$36. Long hike: 12 miles, 3000 ft. elevation gain. Moderate hike: 10 mi., 2600 ft. elevation gain.
And it’s refreshingly less crowded. We’ll get to the summit via different routes after a stretch on the Weakley Hollow Fire Road from the bucolic settlement of Nethers. Long hikers turn off and climb the steep Robertson Mtn. Trail to the top, returning to Nethers on the Corbin Mountain and Nicholson Hollow Trails. Moderate hikers bag the peak on the Corbin Hollow and Robertson Mtn. Trails, then retrace.
